Eighth, and last, ICTs class!

This class was about cooperative learning. In order to put this methodology into practice, we did an exercise in which we have to chose five items from a list (the situation was about surviving). First, we do it individually, then we decided in partners and finally in groups. It clearly gave us, as individuals, distinct perspectives that we were not able to think about, alone. Moreover, it made us understand how to share opinions, how to debate and use argumentation and besides, how to accept other ideas. This philosophy is not just essential in class but a neccesary tool in our daily lives because we are social beings so we need to cooperate in every situation.

Then, the teacher explains the essential ingredient at the time of creating groups. The explanation is that every member of each group needs to have some commonground in their personalities, so it is important that the teacher knows his/her students. Anyway, it depends primarily on the kind of activity that is going to be done.

To sum up, this lesson improves our teaching skills for the future at the time of a plan lesson design which includes cooperative work.
